Do you know how coffee started?
In 900 A.D. Ethiopian goat herders noticed that affect caffeine had on their goats, who appeared to "dance" after eating coffee berries. A local monk then made a drink with coffee berries and found that it kept him awake at night, thus the original cup of coffee was born. From ancient times until now we have seen an incredible increase in the consumption of the humble coffee bean to now being the second most traded commodity on the face of the planet second only to oil.

Hyacinth’s Story

Hyacinth is a 15ft viscount that came into the world in the year 1978, such a happy little van she was, always going on adventures, enjoying new places, new sites, loving meeting new people and doing new things, going up and down the coast, being inland or by the sea, she loved it all.

And for the first 20 years of her life that was how it was, But then suddenly all that changed, she was left out in a paddock under a tree all alone slowly being buried by leaves and that’s where she stayed almost in a dream like state just remembering days gone by, the places she went, the people she saw, hoping and dreaming that one day she might enjoy it all again.

Then one sunny afternoon when Hyacinth was dreaming of the road again she saw some people approach. They came, had a one look at her and saw what she could be, she was towed away and taken to live in a backyard that is where her restoration begun. They painted her, cleaned her up and change her into the van she is today but they realized that they didn’t have the time to give her all the attention she deserved, so they put her up on gumtree hoping that someone else would realize her potential, that’s where we found her, we took one look at her and said “she is the one” so we went on a family holiday, pick her up and took her home, how she loved the roadtrip back with the wind on her roof and the light on her windows, that's when she really woke her up from her dream like state. Now she is truly living the dream, meeting new people, hearing and learning new things.

And oh how she loves every minute of it.
